These are the parts of Downtown Vancouver we believe are ripe for pedestrianization right now.
Gastown
With its 'European feel', Gastown is the most obvious candidate for pedestrianizing. Having high volumes of traffic down Water Street just doesn't feel right.
Robson Street
Robson is the street with the highest levels of pedestrian traffic. Making it a street for people is a no-brainer.
Yaletown
Currently, most of the space in Yaletown is taken up by roads, parking and dumpsters. For it to realize its potential, the space needs to be reallocated for people.
